Privacy policy
Last updated 9 August 2026
This policy explains what NicheTrendFinder collects, why it is collected and how long it is kept. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
What we collect
Account details you provide when signing up (name, email address, organisation name), the research records created inside your workspace, and the credentials you supply to connect a store.
We also record operational data such as ingest job results, push history and error logs so failures can be diagnosed.
Why we process it
To operate your workspace, run the research and publishing features you ask for, keep the service secure, and respond to support requests.
Workspace isolation
Data is scoped to your organisation. Access rules are enforced at the database level so one organisation cannot read another organisation's records.
Store credentials
Access tokens and API keys for connected stores are stored for the sole purpose of publishing on your behalf, are never shown back in full, and are removed when you disconnect the store.
Third-party processors
Some features call external providers on your instruction — for example commerce platform APIs when publishing, currency rate sources, and optional data providers you enable with your own API key. Requests carry only what the feature needs.
Retention and deletion
Workspace data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and its records through support; operational logs may persist for a short period for security and billing integrity.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and ask for an export of your workspace records. Contact support and we will respond in line with applicable law.
