Evidence first, then the order
NicheTrendFinder is an evidence-first e-commerce product intelligence and research workspace for online merchants, e-commerce sellers, dropshippers, product researchers, agencies and entrepreneurs. It brings niche, product, market-signal, supplier and factory, pricing, landed-cost and publishing workflows into one place so launch decisions are based on observable information you can investigate and point to — not hype.
What you can see depends on the data sources connected to your workspace, and every score is a decision-support signal — not a guaranteed forecast of sales or profit.
Why NicheTrendFinder exists
Product research usually ends up scattered: a trend tool in one tab, a supplier marketplace in another, a spreadsheet holding cost assumptions that stopped being true two weeks ago. By the time the pieces line up, the reasoning behind the pick is impossible to reconstruct.
Committing money to inventory, ads and listings deserves better than that. We built a workspace where the signal, the factory, the landed cost and the eventual push all live on the same record — so the decision can be reviewed, questioned and repeated.
What we deliberately avoid
- Presenting a score as a prediction of revenue.
- Filling gaps with generated history when only one data point exists.
- Marking a factory as verified without a review behind it.
- Automating a store push before you have confirmed the first one.
Vision, mission and objectives
Vision
To become a trusted intelligence layer for modern e-commerce — helping entrepreneurs discover opportunities, validate ideas, source responsibly, and make better launch decisions with evidence.
Mission
To simplify fragmented e-commerce research by bringing product signals, niche intelligence, supplier research, commercial cost analysis and execution workflows into one transparent workspace.
Objectives
- 1Reduce the time it takes to research products and niches.
- 2Make product decisions more evidence-based.
- 3Improve transparency in supplier and factory research.
- 4Make landed-cost and margin assumptions easier to understand.
- 5Connect research to store execution.
- 6Continuously improve data freshness, provenance, verification and user trust.
Why choose NicheTrendFinder?
Nine reasons we can actually stand behind.
Evidence before hype
Scores and signals stay traceable to the observations available, with source and timestamp attached.
One research workspace
Fewer tabs and spreadsheets: niche, product, supplier and cost context sit on the same record.
Product + niche + supplier context
Investigate the whole opportunity, not just a product image and a score.
Transparent verification states
Unverified, self-reported, platform-verified and field-verified are distinguished and never blurred together.
Landed-cost thinking
Evaluate freight, fees, duty and acquisition cost — not the supplier price alone.
Built for online commerce
E-commerce sellers, dropshippers, merchants, agencies and product researchers.
Research-to-execution workflow
Prepare products for supported connected channels, without pretending unsupported integrations are live.
Data transparency
Source, freshness, coverage and limitations are displayed wherever they apply.
Human judgment still matters
The workspace supports your decision. It does not guarantee an outcome.
What you get
Current capabilities with their real status. Anything that needs your own provider credentials, or a platform approval we do not have yet, is labelled instead of listed as live.
Niche discovery
Score and compare categories on demand, growth and competition.
Product intelligence
Product records with cost, margin context, media and supplier links.
Historical signal tracking
Trend and price history charted from stored observations only.
Product health & trend signals
A documented health score combining signal, saturation and margin inputs.
Supplier & factory research
Country, MOQ, lead time, response time and dispute-rate fields per supplier.
Supplier verification states
Four explicit tiers; field-verified requires human or partner review.
Landed-cost calculator
Unit cost, freight, platform fees, duty estimate and target ad CPA.
Pricing & margin rules
Per-store rule priority, currency conversion and rounding before publishing.
Visual sourcing / reverse image search
Match a product photo against indexed supplier catalogue images.
Ad intelligence
Search ad creatives through a legitimate provider API you supply.
Store publishing
Shopify and WooCommerce. TikTok Shop and Amazon Seller Central are not connectable yet.
Watchlists & alerts
Track records you care about and get notified when their signals move.
AI support assistant
An automated assistant that identifies itself as software and hands over to a person.
Data-source transparency
Connector status, cadence, last run, rejected records and freshness states.
Founder
James Tetteh
Founder & Product Builder, NicheTrendFinder
James Tetteh is the founder and product builder behind NicheTrendFinder, focused on turning complex business research and AI-assisted workflows into practical tools for entrepreneurs and online commerce operators. His approach combines product thinking, automation, digital strategy, and a strong belief that technology should solve real business problems — not create more complexity.
“Every business owner deserves the best. If you have the idea, then the idea must feed you.”
What you can investigate
Four areas, joined together rather than sitting in separate tools.
Niches
Score and compare categories on demand, growth and competition, then keep the ones that still hold up after a second look.
Products
Trend score, health score and margin context per product, with the history that exists so far rather than a smoothed curve.
Suppliers & factories
Trust tiers, response times, dispute rates, MOQ and lead time — plus reverse image search against indexed catalogue photos.
Commercial signals
Landed cost with freight, transaction fees, duty and target CPA, pricing rules per store, and push history per channel.
How research works here
01
Signal collection
Product, niche and supplier records arrive through the ingest endpoints and scheduled polling, each stamped with its source and timestamp.
02
Filtering
Scores, saturation and margin thresholds cut the list down. Filters are explicit so you can see why something ranked where it did.
03
Verification & context
Supplier trust tiers, verification checks and trend history add context. Field-verified requires human or partner review and is never granted automatically.
04
Decision support
Model price, margin and landed cost, then push to a connected store. The first push on a store always needs your explicit confirmation.
Trend signals are research inputs. A high score means the underlying signals moved, not that a product will sell or be profitable. Demand, ad costs, shipping windows and compliance rules change independently of anything measured here.
Built for practical operators
The workspace assumes you already know your market and need faster, cleaner evidence — not a course.
Founders and small teams
Shorten the gap between an idea and a defensible reason to test it.
Product researchers
Keep sourcing, pricing and trend context in one record instead of across tabs and spreadsheets.
Dropshippers
Check factory terms and true landed cost before a listing goes live.
Agencies
Separate organisations and stores, scoped roles, and per-store pricing rules for each client.
Trust and transparency
Every record shows where it came from and when it was last updated. Supplier trust tiers are labelled honestly, and the highest tier depends on human review. Nothing in the workspace replaces your own due diligence.
Confirm before you commit
- Supplier terms and written quotes
- Stock availability and lead times
- Shipping method, cost and delivery windows
- Margins after fees, duty and ad spend
- Product compliance, safety and labelling
- Real market fit in your own channels
Customer reviews
We only publish feedback from verified accounts, attributed to the person who wrote it.
No verified reviews published yet
NicheTrendFinder is early, and we would rather show an empty section than borrowed praise. Once customers have used the workspace on real launches, their reviews will appear here with their name and the date they were submitted.
Share your experienceSupport, described accurately
Two different things often get sold as one. Here is the split.
Automated assistant — 24/7
The support button on every public page answers setup, ingest, pricing-rule and publishing questions at any hour. It is software, it says so, and it hands you to a person whenever it cannot help.
Human support — working hours
Messages sent through the contact form reach the support inbox and are answered by a person Monday to Friday. We do not claim someone is watching a live chat overnight, because they are not.
Contact supportStart with the evidence
Open the workspace, look at the niches and factories behind a product, and decide with the numbers in front of you.
